1st May Article

Transcript (italic for hand-written text) Friday, May 1, 2009 The Microbe Virus That Will Save Kill Us [???] Today, acclaimed virologist Dr. [???] will introduce the world to a definite solution for the growing biodegradable waste problem. The microorganisms that Dr. [M???] will present today are 89% more effective in breaking down organic waste than the current microbes used for this task. Another important improvement is the lack of released greenhouse gasses, which attribute to Global Warming. Controversy According to anonymous scientists affiliated with T.S.O., the microbes are not to be underestimated and should never be put to use continued on page 14 The article includes an image that seems to belong to the We need your help video, with the following caption: The [???] Microbe, also named the [???] Virus by its protesters.

Interpreting the blocked text

• Talaisan suggested on the unForum thread that the first blocked text in the article (just below the title) could read

our traveling journalist Perry

• Olorin suggested on the unForum thread that the name of the Doctor, blocked in the right-hand side column, could be Dr. Mandera; Bruce, in a following post, seems to agree and suggests that the left-hand side column might hold the same name (including the first name): Evelyn Mandera. This would lead us to Eve Mandera.
  • mycroft7 later pointed out that the blocked out name could also be Dr. Henry Mandelstrom (from Pharmament).
    • Olorin: since in Future Adam's timeline Eve is shot on April 30th, it seems my initial guess is wrong (this article indicates "Today, the acclaimed virologist Dr. ???"); mycroft7's interpretation seems to fit the timeline better (I'm assuming in that timeline he had not left Pharmament).
• Olorin suggested on the unForum thread that the caption for the image in the article could read

The [???] Microbe, also named the ABC123 Virus by its protesters.

Updates

February 12, 2009 Update

On February 12, the TSO MySpace was modified. On the public account page it states:

We have increased the security.
Only FRIENDS can see all our info.
These are dangerous times. We need to be cautious.
T.S.O.

At the same time, as reported by Talaisan on the unForum thread, TSO seems to withold information regarding Dante's whereabouts because

Our organisation is still not strong enough to protect all of us against the enemy that will soon show its face.

This might indicate that the number of people befriending TSO on the MySpace page might become relevant.

March 8, 2009 Update

T.S.O. has uploaded a new Photo (see below). It appears in the "Book" panel and is part of the E.Y.E.'s puzzle.
