Discovery
On April 1 E.Y.E.'s Home Page has been updated. AUZ505 and RikaLeigh and AUZ505 found that the page background (which appears to be solid black) actually includes an image, which can be accessed at the following URL: http://www.eyeamhere.com/PL/noletters.png

The Hints
This puzzle was not solved easily and we got several hints from E.Y.E.:
via Dave
Dave also posted on 4 April the following message on Twitter (see Dave on Twitter:
E.Y.E. asked me to pass a message related to the words: "Did you count?" No idea what he means by that.
note (spec): A hint that there are 26 words (as much as letters in the alphabet)
via Eyeamhere Login
On 5 April the Eyamhere Login has to smaller updates.
- The button now reads "cheCk"
- There is a second background.gif which reads, in the bottom-right corner:
hAve yOu foUnd The caPitals iN tHe worDs thaT eYe gaVe yoU?
note (spec) A hint that in each word there is one important letter.
via Twitter
E.Y.E. posted on 5 April several messages on Twitter (see E.Y.E. on Twitter):
The words E.Y.E. gave you are not meant to unlock the safe. The safe can be opened when the time is right. Now focus on the words.
note (spec): A hint that the words are not related to Crack the safe.
E.Y.E. assume a combined effort will be key to putting the letter together. E.Y.E. have given you 1 key. Have you used it yet?
note (spec): A hint that we have to combine things to get the complete letter. The key he has given us is probably the "eYe" word.
E.Y.E. have a feeling that the latest quest is too complex. Strangely though, to solve it is so simple. Maybe too simple.
The ammount of passwords equals the only integer preceded by a square and followed by a cube.
note (spec) Another hint regarding 26, since this is the only interger between a square (5^2) and a cube (3^3).
Solution
RikaLeigh finally found the way how to use the words and how to get the missing letter.
Just put a ".png" at the end of each word and use it at
www.eyeamhere.com/PL/
Sorted by the letter they lead to (see above for the orde rin which the words have been received
Combined Letter
combining all letter and the noletter image reveals the following:
